How Billing Works

You are billed $0.50 for each core hour used. This is called usage-only as there is no flat rate.

Every active device uses core hours. You will be billed for the number of CPU cores each active device uses.

As an example, a 4-core device will accumulate 4 core hours, or $2.00, for every hour it is active.

What is a core hour?

A core hour is one hour of CPU core usage while the device is not off. A multi-core device will accumulate core hours for each CPU core in use.

What is an active device?

For example, if the device is on, paused, turning on, turning off, etc. then it is considered active and using device cores, for which you will be billed. If you only have off devices in your account, you will not be billed for any core hours. Learn more about device states.
